Salt Lake City is the home of Nathan Chen. Nathan Wei Chen, born May 5, 1999, is an American figure skater. He is the 2022 Olympic champion in the Beijing Olympics, winning a Gold Medal.
Nathan Chen, a member of Salt Lake Figure Skating club, is nicknamed “the Quad King” due to his ability to perform quadruple jumps with ease. Chen would go on to win the Gold Medal with a free skate score of 218.63 which included five quad jumps, finishing with a combined score of 332.60.
